When multiple quantities (MQ) are defined for an opportunity line item, bidders provide price and quantity information at the MQ level. However, the bid is submitted and winner determination occurs at the line item level.

In order to provide a meaningful value for price per price unit at the line item level, the prices per price unit from the MQ level are averaged. The resulting value is displayed as the price per price unit at the line item level along with a visual indication that the value represents an average and not the true price.
