Definicja sales reduction budget
A budget set up in the merchandise and assortment planning process. The purpose of the sales reduction budget is to take into account the sales that will be lost because a certain quantity of the planned products will have to be sold at a price lower than the regular sales price of the products. This budget is made available by the planning process and used in the transactional system to control and limit the creation of markdowns and promotions.
