An ABAP Dictionary object that describes the technical attributes of a data element, such as data type, length and value range.

A domain defines a value range containing the valid values for fields that refer to that domain. You can group fields that have similar technical or business purposes under a single domain. All fields based on a domain are updated automatically when you change the domain. This guarantees the consistency of the fields.
