To change the status of a course from "planned" to "active" and to establish the definitive participant list.

Note

You can create a course in "planned" or "active" status. The course must be in "active" status before you can bill participants or do follow-up processing for the course.

When the course is firmly booked, you can specify that the automatic correspondence function triggers notifications for the participants, such as definite confirmation of place.
