The manual processing of items in business transactions "complaint" or "return" that could neither be released nor declined by the system during the automatic execution of business rules. In this case, the system puts the items in the investigation workflow, which is processed manually by employees. During the workflow, the items may be processed in the following processing levels:

At the end of the investigation, the item is either released or declined.
