In FM budgeting, the budget type is user-defined in Customizing and contains detail information on the budgeting process, enabling customers to create their own budget types for each SAP budgeting process.
The most important budgeting processes are: Enter (enter new budget data) Return, Supplement, Transfer, Carryforward/Carryover.
