Co znaczy REVISION SCOPE:

The IP can be exchanged subsequently in an IPM contract item that has already been billed (and for which payment may already have been made). This leads to automatic transfer postings in FI etc.

A distinction should be made between the following here:

Is the new IP to be valid retroactively, or is it first to be valid from a specific point in time? Is the complete value of the contract item to be transfer posted to the new IP or is the unrecouped advance only to be transfer posted in an advance item? Are price changes, which have taken place when the IP was exchanged, to apply retroactively, or are these first to apply in the future. etc.

These different variants are controlled by the 'revision scope'.
