Planning procedure within heuristic-based planning, where scheduling agreements that were created in an OLTP system and transferred to the APO system through a CIF interface, are also taken into account as possible sources of supply. During the SNP planning run, the system creates scheduling lines for the scheduling agreements. The user is then able to generate manual or automatic scheduling agreement releases based on these scheduling lines and transmit them to the vendor. After the vendor has given notification of his capacity (using confirmations), these can, if required, be included as maximum capacities during rescheduling.
