Customer-specific quantity-based procedure.

A single-quantity procedure code (PC) must always be entered together with a quantity and unit of measure. Single-quantity PCs are not official procedures. Customers need to create them with charge type 81 (Quantity-Based Procedure Code). Single-quantity PCs allow medical staff to document the consumed quantity of a particular active ingredient (expensive drugs and blood preparations) for the course of a patient's treatment.
